Clara Rolim
I started practicing in 1998, I studied in several schools, methods and trainings until I got to the Iyengar system, at the time little known in Portugal. I ended up doing the Iyengar certification with Christian Pisano and June Whittaker from 2010 to 2013, in Nice.
I followed the deepening of Yoga practice in retreats and workshops with Geeta, Patxi, Faeq, Billy Konrad and mostly with Christian Pisano. I’m fascinated by this exploration.
Billy Konrad
Billy is a certified Senior Iyengar Yoga Instructor based in Lisbon, Portugal. Originally trained at the Iyengar Yoga Institute of San Francisco, he relocated to Europe in 2007 to further his training in Paris, France. In 2012, he moved full-time to Lisbon – where he now lives with his family.
He brings more than 20 years of practice to his regular public classes in Lisbon, and to the workshops he teaches in a variety of locations in Europe.
He gave the first teachers training of this method in Portugal

Bigret-Combes
Before discovering Iyengar yoga in 2015, I started exploring my body’s capabilities through 20 cumulated years of dancing and theater acting.
The perpetual research and learning that yoga represents in my life are a gift that helps me understand more daily the prints that the mind leaves on the body.
After following teachers and studies in Paris, Montreal, and Nice, life led me to Billy Konrad, whom I train with today in Lisbon to serve my practice and teaching.
Hugo Abecassis
I found my passion of Anatomy in Yoga through the observation of the human body behaviour. I believe that, as humans we are unique and each one of us share’s a different experience in life. All of those experiences are imprinted in the body, so as such, the body can be read just like reading a book.
The body simply assumes an attitude as a register of all we have gathered and experienced. My work and research pursuits the knowledge and integrity of the human body as a first step to understand deeper aspects of the being.
Inês Forjaz
In the opposition of forces that defines the whirlwind all our lives are, Inês found in the yoga practice the place and space to take a step back, an oxygen bubble, her eye of the hurricane.
Practicing since 1999, she lived and studied all over the world, many years and in particular with Christian Pisano, Patxi Lizard and also in Pune with the Iyengar family, who have been her most important inspiration in the last few years.
She was the first ever Portuguese Senior teacher and transmits all this experience in weekly classes in Sintra, Estoril and Lisbon, along with workshops in Portugal.
Carina Ricardo
In 2010, I began my studies of the practice under Professor Nuno Cabral, and since then I have been consistently exploring and refining it.
I then studied under the guidance of teacher Billy Konrad in both the regular & group Iyengar yoga study classes in Lisbon.
In addition, I deepened my studies by participating in workshops led by teachers Patxi de Madrid & Christian Pisano.
